For Using Android Smartphone as an Webcam

Well there are some special apps made for Android phones such as IP Webcam which is really an useful app. It is preferred more because it has cross platform connectivity and compatibility mode. So, follow below instructions carefully.

• First step is to make sure your Smartphone and PC are connected to the same WIFI connection network
• Next step is to install IP Webcam app on your Smartphone from here
• After installing IP Webcam app, open it and scroll down to the bottom of it

• Now you have to click on "Start Server" and will open the camera
• Then on your Smartphone screen you can observe an URL at the bottom of the page 
• You have to enter the same URL from mobile onto your PC browser and click on enter
• Next step is to select Browser under Video Render and HTML5 Wav from Audio player 

• So now your Webcam will start working perfectly suing Android phone camera
• In order to record click on Red recording button and stop is present on top right of app

Use iphone ipod and ipad as Webcam for windows xp 7 8 and mac :

IOS devices such as Iphone and Ipad are said to be having great camera definition and pixels. They can also be used to record videos as an Webcam by following these steps. We will be using EpocCam app for IOS devices which is free and easy to use.

• First you will have to connect IOS device like Iphone to your computer PC using same WiFi network
• Now you have to download EpocCam app on your  Iphone from here first
• Also download this app for your PC or MAC respectively
• After that install EpocCam on both Iphone and computer with required settings
• Then run the app from Iphone and now you can see live video on our PC as well
• In this free version, recording feature is not available but I would advise you to use another record software on PC to record it
