Sample Resume Formats

The first thing a employer concentrate on your resume is the text.so,the text your using in the resume is an important issue as it is the first expression towards your employer.so, the professional text format you need to use is Times New Roman in the classic sans-serif,while other two choices which suits better are Arial or Calibri .the font size of 11 or 12.

Your text: 
Here i will show you the format in which you have to text everything.You have to consider the Heading ,size, Font as Initially important.Then head towards the Introduction part and Start writing it in eloquent manner.Below i have illustrated the format you have to follow.
  •  you can use multiple font for your resume but be careful of not making them maximum. Instead you can select Italic or bold to specific the important content.
  • your font size should be always printed in solid blank ink
  • the font size for your header and introduction part should be 14 or 16.  
Page set  up:
Page set up is really an important part of a Resume.This shows you how neat and obliged you are by following every small rule of page setup.Adding margins and Headers makes it look outstanding in a manner.
  •  the body of the resume should be aligned to left and the header will be centered at top of the page.
  •  the page you create should have one inch margins at all borders with line spacing between 1.5 to 2 points.
 Heading 
Heading is where you have to tell about yourself from your Name , Gender to Address.Be carefully and write every thing neatly.
  •  This is the main things which will give all the details with your contact,name,address,email,cell number.
  • your name should be a bit lager size from 14 to 16.

I will be extolling you three types of format which you've have to follow.Generally these three types of Formats are followed in every country.

 There are three formats to write an resume:
  •  Chronological resumes:  this format shows your growth in a particular career field.for applying a job this are best suited where you can show the increase in responsibility for your career.
  • Functional resume:this resume focus on experience and skills than job history. this are good for those who have gained the self-employment than the career towards the respective field.
  • Combination resume: this resumes shows both your experience and the skills in your career.for the one with better skills it is the best resumes i suggest.
I will be explaining all three types of format in general and you can follow this to ease.

Chronological Resumes Format :

   Employment history list:
  •  In this resume you need show your employment history in a chronological order by showing the most rest employment first than in decreasing order.
  • For each job you have down write the achievements you have achieved which you have got for your better work.
Provide your education history:
  • Same as the above show the recent study you have completed with the name of university/program including their address and your area of study
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Note your skills you have got in your language ,work and the special area of work that others may not know.
Reference:
  • You need provide the reference of 2-4 people aren't from your family and friends.
  • Employer may contact this people to get information about you.so always be in touch with the people you have referenced.

Functional Resumes Format:

Educational history:
  • Same as in Chronological Resume provide your education qualification with the order of recent schooling you have completed with the qualification and name of the university / program
  • Also show your percentage with your school and degree information.
Achievements and awards to be presented:
  • Awards that you have got during your schooling and the achievements you have succeeded in your career need to be presented with their details.
  • Every small award that you have achieved should be presented here.
 Special skills:
  • Create a list of skills you have got naturally.the personality you have got is mentioned in the special skills.example: team-player,enthusiastic etc.
Employment history:
  • This is not the strongest part of your Resume so you need present this part at the last of your resume.as you have noted your employment in chronological resume same you have to do here with the recent job you have down keeping it first and processioning to the next one.

Combinational Resumes Format :


This is the best resume for the one who have better skills with his personality and good career in the employment.
Chose how you want to format your resume by showing your awards and achievements first or by showing the employment skills that you have achieved in career first.you can figure it by your wish.
 Make your content shine:
  • The title that are first catches by the employer you need to highlight them or keep them in inverted comas.
  • The key words you wish you repeated should be written carefully.
  • Use action verbs to describe your responsibilities and accomplishments.
  • At last check the spells and content you have expressed is in correct way or not
