How to Root Oneplus One and Download / Install oxygen OS

Oneplus One is one of the best Smartphone available in the market meeting almost every requirement with lots of better specs. Everyone who ones OnePlus One can glance over to their latest OS update. The company has released Oxygen OS for their flagship device with a lot of more features in it. There were many rumors about new OS update but few days back, the latest and much awaited Oxygen OS is released basing on the Android Lollipop 5.0.2. This new ROM OS update has brought so many new features along with it and users are hustling to have it on their device.

How to Root and Install Oxygen OS on OnePlus One Phone

•  Before committing to this, I would advise you to save all your data and wipe everything from your device for ease
• Now go to Security from device > Installation from Unknown sources and select this option
• After that download the Oxygen OS file in Zip format from Here
• We will use TWRP to flash recovery image onto your Computer or Mac and then download the recovery image to your PC

Note : If you don't know how to do TWRP for OnePlus One then follow their official guide

• After the unzipping the Oxygen OS.zip file you can copy the Oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip directly to your phone from PC and MAC using connector
• Now you have to boot by holding down both the Volume down key and the power button to send phone into recovery
• Now as your device is in the Recover interface, we have to wipe all your data after all data is backed up

Install Oxygen OS on Oneplus One Phone : 

•  we have to install the oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip. You have to confirm flash , so that Oxygen OS will be flashed and Installed on your device
• After the Flash is successfully you now have to reboot/restart your device normally
• Now you have successfully installed Oxygen OS on OneplusOne and you can use it on your device from now
